A Pécsi Tudományegyetem Egyetemi Hallgatói Önkormányzata (PTE EHÖK) felvételt hirdet nemzetközi mentori szerep betöltésére a 2026/2027-es tanévre

A PTE EHÖK Nemzetközi Mentorprogram felvételt hirdet az egyetemre érkező elsőéves hallgatók integrációs, kortárs segítői feladatellátására a 2026/2027-es tanévre vonatkozóan.

A jelentkezés benyújtásának határideje: 2026. április 24. 17:00 (péntek)

A jelentkezés benyújtásának módja: elektronikusan, hallgatói jogviszony igazolás, önéletrajz és motivációs levél megküldésével angol nyelven a következő linken: LINK. A Form elérhető az egyetemi Microsoft fiókba való bejelentkezés után.

Ellátandó feladat:

•          A mentor azonos intézményben tanuló felsőbb éves hallgató, aki segíti a rábízott külföldi hallgató felsőoktatási integrációját
•          A mentor felveszi a kapcsolatot a rábízott külföldi hallgatóval annak Magyarországra való megérkezését megelőzően, amennyiben szükséges, segít neki az albérletkeresésben, kollégiumi ügyintézésben.
•          A hallgató megérkezését követően folyamatosan kapcsolatot tart vele, tájékoztatja az aktuális intézményi pályázatokról, ösztöndíjakról, az intézményi tanulmányi rendszerről, valamint segíti a diákéletbe való bekapcsolódását.
•          Amennyiben a külföldi hallgató igényli, úgy a mentor segítséget nyújt adminisztrációs ügyek intézésében.
•          A felvételt nyert mentorok egy tanévre vállalják mentori tevékenységüket, mely időszak alatt aktív hallgatói jogviszonnyal kell rendelkezniük.
•          A mentor vállalja, hogy megbízása idején folyamatosan kapcsolatot tart a mentorprogramért felelős koordinátorral, és a munkájához tartozó adminisztrációs feladatokat maradéktalanul teljesíti, munkájáról írásbeli beszámolót készít.

Pályázati feltételek:

•          Mentornak jelentkezhet minden olyan nappali tagozatos hallgató, aki alapszakon nem az első tanévét kezdi a felsőoktatásban 2026/2027-es tanévben.
•          A PTE Nemzetközi Mentorprogram munkanyelve angol, így a legalább középszintű angol nyelvtudás a jelentkezés kritériumát képezi.
•          A jelentkezők vállalják, hogy amennyiben a mentorfelvételt sikeresen teljesítik, elvégzik a mentorhálózat által biztosított tréninget, mely mentori munkájukat hivatott segíteni, illetve arra nyújt felkészítést.
• A pályázó a 2026/27-es teljes tanévben aktív hallgatói jogviszonnyal kell, hogy rendelkezzen.
•          Hallgatói jogviszony igazolás, önéletrajz és motivációs levél megküldése angol nyelven erre a LINK–re a pályázati felhívásban jelzett határidőig.

A jelentkezés elbírálásának módja, rendje

• május 4.-ig minden jelentkező visszaigazolást kap arról, hogy jelentkezése a mentorprogram vezetése által milyen bírálatban részesült, melyet amennyiben indokolt, interjú követ.
• Az interjúkra várhatólag május 6. és május 13. között kerül sor
• A pályázatok végleges elbírálásának időpontja 2026. május 18.

The University Student Union of the University of Pécs (PTE EHÖK) is inviting applications for international mentors for the academic year 2026/2027.

Dear Students,

The PTE EHÖK International Mentorship Program invites applications for the position of integration and peer support for first-year students arriving at the University for the academic year 2026/2027.

Deadline for application: 24 April 2026, 17:00 (Friday)

How to apply: electronically by sending a Student Status Certificate, a CV, and a letter of motivation in English to the following LINK. The form is available by logging in to the university Microsoft account.

Task of a mentor:

• The mentor is an upper year student at the same institution who assists the integration of the assigned international student in higher education
• The mentor will contact the foreign student before his/her arrival in Hungary and, if necessary, help him/her to find accommodation and to find a dormitory.
• After the student’s arrival, he/she will keep in touch with the student, informing him/her about current institutional applications, scholarships, the institutional study system and helping him/her to integrate into student life.
• If the student requests it, the mentor will assist with administrative matters.
• The mentors are recruited for one academic year, during which time they must be active students.
• The mentor undertakes to maintain constant contact with the mentor programme coordinator during the period of his/her assignment, to fulfil the administrative tasks related to his/her work in full and to prepare a written report on his/her work.

Application criteria:

• Any full-time student who is not starting his/her first year of study in higher education in the academic year 2026/2027 in a bachelor’s degree programme may apply for a mentor.
• The working language of the PTE International Mentorship Program is English, so an intermediate level of English is required.
• Applicants agree to complete the mentoring training provided by the mentor network to support and prepare them for their mentoring role.
• The applicant must have an active student status for the entire 2026/27 academic year.
• Send a Student Status Certificate, a CV, and a letter of motivation in English to this LINK.by the deadline indicated in the call for applications.

 

Procedure for the assessment of applications:

• By 4th of May, all applicants will receive confirmation of how their application has been assessed by the mentor programme management, followed by an interview if appropriate.
• Interviews are scheduled from 6th of May to 13th of May
• Final evaluation of applications will take place on 18th of May
