PÁLYÁZATI FELHÍVÁS

A Pécsi Tudományegyetem Egyetemi Hallgatói Önkormányzata (PTE EHÖK) felvételt hirdet nemzetközi mentori szerep betöltésére a 2022/2023-es tanévre!

A jelentkezés benyújtásának határideje: 2022. június 10. 17:00 (péntek)

A jelentkezés benyújtásának módja: elektronikusan, hallgatói jogviszonyigazolás, önéletrajz és motivációs levél megküldésével angol nyelven a mentorprogram.ehok@pte.hu e-mail címre.

A jelentkezést követően minden jelentkező visszaigazoló e-mailt kap.

Ellátandó feladat

  • A mentor azonos intézményben tanuló felsőbb éves hallgató, aki segíti a rábízott külföldi hallgató felsőoktatási integrációját
  • A mentor felveszi a kapcsolatot a rábízott külföldi hallgatóval annak Magyarországra való megérkezését megelőzően, amennyiben szükséges, segít neki az albérletkeresésben, kollégiumi ügyintézésben.
  • A hallgató megérkezését követően folyamatosan kapcsolatot tart vele, tájékoztatja az aktuális intézményi pályázatokról, ösztöndíjakról, az intézményi tanulmányi rendszerről, valamint segíti a diákéletbe való bekapcsolódását.
  • Amennyiben a külföldi hallgató igényli, úgy a mentor segítséget nyújt adminisztrációs ügyek intézésében.
  • A felvételt nyert mentorok egy tanévre vállalják mentori tevékenységüket, mely időszak alatt aktív hallgatói jogviszonnyal kell rendelkezniük.
  • A mentor vállalja, hogy megbízása idején folyamatosan kapcsolatot tart a mentorprogramért felelős koordinátorral, és a munkájához tartozó adminisztrációs feladatokat maradéktalanul teljesíti, munkájáról írásbeli beszámolót készít.
  • A mentor vállalja, hogy legjobb tudásának megfelelően, aktívan részt vesz az EHÖK által szervezett mentori kompetenciákat fejlesztő felkészítő képzésen.

Pályázati feltételek

  • Mentornak jelentkezhet minden olyan nappali tagozatos hallgató, aki alapszakon nem az első tanévét kezdi a felsőoktatásban 2022/2023-as tanévben.
  • A PTE Nemzetközi Mentorprogram munkanyelve angol, így a legalább középszintű angol nyelvtudás a jelentkezés kritériumát képezi.
  • A jelentkezők vállalják, hogy amennyiben a mentorfelvételt sikeresen teljesítik, elvégzik a mentorhálózat által biztosított tréninget, mely mentori munkájukat hivatott segíteni, illetve arra nyújt felkészítést.
  • Hallgatói jogviszony igazolás, önéletrajz és motivációs levél megküldése angol nyelven a mentorprogram.ehok@pte.hu címre a pályázati felhívásban jelzett határidőig.

A jelentkezés elbírálásának módja, rendje

  • 2022. június 15-ig minden jelentkező visszaigazolást kap arról, hogy jelentkezése a mentorprogram vezetése által milyen bírálatban részesült, melyet amennyiben indokolt, interjú követ.
  • A sikeres elbíráslásban részesülő pályázók számára mentor tréning kerül megszervezésre 2022 augusztus hónapban. A tréning sikeres teljesítését követően zárul a mentorfelvételi eljárás.

CALL FOR APPLICATION

The University Student Union of the University of Pécs (PTE EHÖK) is inviting applications for international mentors for the academic year 2022/2023.

Deadline for application: 10 June 2022, 17:00 (Friday)

How to apply: electronically by sending a Student Status Certificate, a CV, and a letter of motivation in English to mentorprogram.ehok@pte.hu.

All applicants will receive a confirmation e-mail following their application.

Task of a mentor

  • The mentor is an upper year student at the same institution who assists the integration of the assigned international student in higher education
  • The mentor will contact the foreign student before his/her arrival in Hungary and, if necessary, help him/her to find accommodation and to find a dormitory.
  • After the student’s arrival, he/she will keep in touch with the student, informing him/her about current institutional applications, scholarships, the institutional study system and helping him/her to integrate into student life.
  • If the student requests it, the mentor will assist with administrative matters.
  • The mentors are recruited for one academic year, during which time they must be active students.
  • The mentor undertakes to maintain constant contact with the mentor programme coordinator during the period of his/her assignment, to fulfil the administrative tasks related to his/her work in full and to prepare a written report on his/her work.
  • The mentor undertakes to participate actively, to the best of his/her ability, in the mentoring training organised by the EHÖK.

Application criteria

  • Any full-time student who is not starting his/her first year of study in higher education in the academic year 2022/2023 in a bachelor’s degree programme may apply for a mentor.
  • The working language of the PTE International Mentorship Program is English, so an intermediate level of English is required.
  • Applicants agree to complete the mentoring training provided by the mentor network to support and prepare them for their mentoring role.
  • Send an Student Status Certificate, a CV, and a letter of motivation in English to mentorprogram.ehok@pte.hu by the deadline indicated in the call for applications.

Procedure for the assessment of applications

  • By 15 June 2022, all applicants will receive a confirmation of the assessment of their application by the mentoring programme management, followed, where appropriate, by an interview.
  • A mentor training session will be organised for successful applicants in August 2022. After successful completion of the training, the mentor recruitment process will be closed.
